Using The Command Key On Your Mac

The "Command Key", flanking the space bar, is one of the most iconic features of a Mac.

The Command Key Can do every simple task the Mac can perform.  To copy words/images etc. all you do is hold Command and C to copy the highlighted text or image.  Then to paste, prepare a spot for your highlighted text or image.
Next, hold Command and V to paste.  If you are running anything on the Mac and you want exit the program the Command Key also has a role in this too.  While most people drag the cursor to the little red button in the top left corner, I on the other hand just hold Command and Q to quit the program.
Since there are so many things you can do with the Command Key, I cannot list them all, you, my wonderful readers, can go online and discover the Command Key's full potential.

Secrets To Touch I.D. On The iPhone 5s

If there are any of you out there are like me who have the iPhone 5s and have a love/hate relationship with the Touch I.D.  I have recently discovered a way to master the Touch I.D.  First of all, never use Touch ID after dealing with any thing liquid, the moisture on your finger screws up the fingerprint scanner and denies your access for that moment.  But if this happens, get a DRY piece of cloth and wipe you finger.  BUT YOUR FINGER CAN'T BE TOO DRY EITHER!!  So after your finger has the majority of the moisture off, wrap your finger around in your shirt and this will allow just the right amount of oil to seep out of your pores, allowing the Touch I.D. to function normally again.

Battery Life: Part 2

The second thing that should greatly improve your battery life is clearing your text history.  (Just make sure to tell your spouse or better half that you are not cheating on him or her)  To do this you must tap on the "Messages" icon on you iPhone, iPod, or iPad.  Then you go to the top left corner where you will find the "Edit" button.  Once you tap it, little signs like the "No-Entry" road sign.  Then hit that little sign then it will ask you if you want to delete that conversation.  This should help conserve your battery life.

How To Get The Longest Life Out Of Your Phone Tablet Or Laptop

There have been many cases where the battery has exploded on electronic devices.  If this has happened to you, I might be able to tell why that happened and how to prevent it again.  The easiest way to help this is by only charging your phone, tablet, or laptop once a day or when it is desperately needing some juice.  When your gadget is charging, the battery gets hot, and if it stays like this for too long the battery has a higher risk of either not working at all or not holding a charge at all.  So to save your phone, try and keep it off the charger as much as possible.

One Of The Many Ways To Conserve Battery Life On Your iPhone Or iPad

If you have noticed the battery life in your iPhone or iPad draining a lot faster than it should, I have discovered something that should greatly improve our battery life.  First off, after you are done with an application on your phone or pad, immediately tap the home button twice very quickly (do not hold it because this will activate Siri) and then you should see this ( the bottom picture).  Then all you do is slide up on the application which quits the program, which, in turn, shall reduce battery drainage by a mile!

How to Get Rid of Those Annoying App Store Alerts Letting You Know To Update OS X

When I first started using OS X, everyday, the App Store kept reminding me to update OS X.  I thought there was nothing I could do to make these annoying pop-ups go away.  But then I found a way.  First click on the button which tells the system to begin the update.  Then all you have to do is hold down "Option" which turns the pause button into a cancel button.

Customization

If you are a person who wants to "spruce up" their Mac experience, check out "Accessibility" in "System Preferences"

Here is a little tip on how to do a screenshot on a Mac.  All you do is hold down Command, Shift, and 3 to get a shot of the whole screen.  Then to get a section of the screen hold Command, Shift, and 4.  Uploading varies on different sites. :)

Hello Travelers out there.  I will show you something you probably did not know about the charger for a Macbook.  The reason I say travelers is because I uploaded a picture of the folding clamps (the one my pinkie finger is on)  These clamps in the position shown, allow you to wrap your charging cord up while taking up the least amount of space

After

Before
When I received my Macbook, I realized, my family's Windows operating computers could not translate documents sent from Mac's word documenting system (This system is called Pages).  I spent weeks trying to find a way to make the documents translatable for Windows.  Then I found the key.

When you are ready to send your Pages document, go up to the top bar, hold your cursor on "File" then a bar should drop down.  Then hold your cursor over "Export To" and then you can click Microsoft Word, PDF and many more options.  Now your document is ready to send to a "Non-Mac" computer!
